How Trip Activation Works

We only run trips when enough people want to go. That keeps prices low and means you are never charged for a trip that does not happen.

What Is Trip Activation?

Every trip has a minimum number of riders needed to run. When enough people reserve seats and we hit that minimum, the trip activates — meaning it is officially a go. If we do not reach the minimum, the trip does not run and nobody is charged.

When Am I Charged?

Your card is securely saved when you book, but you are not charged at that time. There is no temporary hold, no authorization, and no pending transaction.

Once the trip activates:

✓ Your card is charged the full booking amount
✓ You receive a confirmation via email and text
✓ Your seat is locked in for the trip

What If the Trip Does Not Activate?

✗ Your card is never charged
✗ Your reservation expires automatically
✗ You are notified via email and/or text

There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. It is completely risk-free.

Activation Timeline

Trips activate when the rider minimum is reached. This typically happens in the days leading up to the event. Each trip page shows a live progress bar so you can see how close it is to activating.

Your card is securely saved but never charged. Cancel anytime before the trip activates — zero cost, zero fees.

After the trip activates

All sales are final once the trip activates and your card is charged. Contact support@justacruizin.com for extraordinary circumstances.
